On this second edition of The Bali Bible, I will be focusing on the western style cafe here in Bali. We all know Bali is famous for the gorgeous and aesthetic beaches and views, which attract a lot of tourist especially from the west. They influenced the tourism attraction, as the result we can see a lot of western styled restaurant and cafe among the Seminyak and Kuta street.
Crate
Crate is a small coffee cafe in Canggu. The place is not that spacious, although the atmosphere of the cafe is really comfortable. They have a lot of open space are in the cafe, which I think is the reason why there are a lot of western people here at Crate because most of Asian people is not a big fan of sunlight.
I ordered the Eggxelent, this dish is basically eggs on top of toasted bruschetta with tomato and parsley salad in the middle. This dish is perfect for breakfast and lunch, it is healthy and energizing. For the dessert or appetizer (it can be both, but I think it is most likely to be a dessert), I ordered Froot Loop, which is a assorted fruits with vanilla yogurt. The dessert it self is not that complex, although it is really refreshing, especially in for midday lunch in Bali. Indonesia is also famous for the sweet flavored fruits, this is because Indonesia is located in the equator line. For the drink, I ordered the Big Bold Banana. It is very fulfilling but its worth to try.

Livingstone
Livingstone is one of the cafe in Kerobokan, Bali. There they serve authentic brunch to dinner menu with their open space atmosphere, by using a lot of glass ceiling in their modern vintage design it really makes this place really comfortable ro hang out and it has a perfect lighting for those who love to take pictures of food.
The Eggs Benedict here at Livingstone is really good, they use smoked salmon under the poach egg and hollandaise sauce dressing. The size is quite small but it makes the presentation really nice with two identical poach egg on crust bread and salad on the side. For the dessert, it is St.Clement's Creme Brulee topped with chocolate macaroon and ice cream on top.
