Almond Chocolate Bars


This new recipe that I have been planning for quiet sometime is inspired by the cereal bars in the supermarket that contain a lot of preservatives and additive sweetener. Instead of eating those bars that those companies are trying to portray as "healthy food", which actually is healthy and manipulate you as the consumer with the "healthy label", let's start making our own healthy bars that does not contain any preservative of chemical ingredients that does not digested properly in your metabolism.

Almond Chocolate Bars are one of my favorite bars recipe that does not needed any baking process and it is really simple to make. In addition, there this bar will be flour-less, no sugar, dairy free, and egg free. So, this will be eating dessert without feeling any guilty. The ingredients you will be needing are:

  • 120 grams ground almonds
  • 200 grams of rolled oatmeal
  • 100 grams of dates
  • 1/2 of avocado
  • 200 grams of cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp of honey
  • 1/2 of banana

Oatmeal is one of the easiest breakfast ideas that is healthy and has lots of fiber that will make you energize and feeling full longer. Oatmeal can also be a plain base of your creation since we can make a lot of delicious recipes out of this healthy ingredients.
I am going to show you my 6 of my favorite overnight oatmeal recipes. This recipes will require no baking or any cooking process. In addition, all of recipes will have less than 400 hundred calories and for the bonus it will boost your metabolism.
1. Matcha Overnight Oatmeal
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of fresh milk
  • 1 tsp of natural honey
  • 1 tbsp of green tea powder
  • 1 banana
  • Vanilla Granola
2. Almond Vanilla Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • Almonds (whole or sliced)
  • Vanilla Granola
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract or vanilla bean
  • 1 tsp of natural honey

3. Banana Choco Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of chocolate milk
  • 1 banana
  • Chocolate rice
  • 1 tsp of natural honey

4. Soya Raisins Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of soya milk
  • 1 tsp of natural honey
  • Raisins
  • Shredded dried coconut

Kue Cubit Green Tea

This is a bonus recipe for the page. Kue cubit is an Indonesia signature dessert, it is like a mini pancake. Kue cubit means "pinch cake" in English, maybe because of the size of the cake which serves in mini shaped form. The dough is basically similar to a pancake dough although there are some differences in the recipe to make this Indonesia dessert, it is often to serve this cake half cooked. In this recipe I will also make a little twist to the original recipe, which is adding green tea powder in the dough. Green tea has been really popular lately, any kind of desserts are added with green tea. This became a new trend to the society. So, let's get started.

The ingredients you will be needing are:
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 300 grams of flour
  • 3/4 tbsp of baking powder
  • 1 cup of green tea powder
  • 50 grams of melted margarine
  • 100ml of water
  • 1/4 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt
Steps:

First, add eggs and sugar then mix it with mixer until it is well combined. Next, add the flour, baking powder, and the green tea powder then mix it all together. Add melted margarine, water, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt the mix it all together again.

Preheat the mini shaped mold and the lightly coat the mold with butter or margarin so that the dough would not stick to the mold. Pour the dough and cook it in a low heat until it is set or you can leave it half cooked with the delicious runny dough on top.
