This week special is one of my favorite Island in Indonesia, which is Bali! Bali has a really unique and delicious food that is really great for you to try. Its rich culture and signature style really appeal the travelers around the world, especially their aesthetic nature that can really take our breathe away. I never really get bored visiting this gorgeous Dewata Island in south east part of Indonesia. Their food also one of the reason a lot of travelers visit this Island, starting from domestic to international tourist they all can enjoy different variety of the food here at Bali.
The Dirty Duck
My first stop is definitely a Bali signature dish, Bebek Bengil, which famously known by international tourist as The Dirty Duck. Its not a literal served dirty duck of course, it is a crispy fried duck served with spicy shallots oil sambal. Here, at The Dirty Duck Nusa Dua you can also order another Balinese signature food, such as Nasi Campur Bali, which is steamed rice with assorted Balinese specialities starting from satay lilit, flavored beef, and other Balinese vegetable dishes. For those who does not eat duck, you can order the Crispy Chicken. They boiled the chicken with local spices then deep fried it and it is served with yellow rice and local vegetables. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really relaxing. They used Balinese village themed style with a beach view, definitely an extra touch to their delicious cuisine and to added for its folk styled feel you can enjoy your meal with the local's fresh coconut water. The estimated price for two people is Rp 250.000.

Sisterfields
Are you looking for those amazing breakfast experience? Sisterfield is one of my favorite. They serve western styled breakfast dishes. The first one, I ordered this french toast with caramelized banana, candied walnuts, and banana ice cream topped with maple syrup it turns out to be really good the caramelized banana is the best part. Then I also ordered this pancake that serves with berry compote and vanilla ice cream. For the savory dishes, there are the risotto with chicken nugget also ricotta gnocchi with tomato ragu. Both of the are really good, the risotto has that creamy texture that melts in your mouth and the cheese just give that perfect saltiness and for the gnocchi it taste really good as well. There are a lot of Australians here at Sisterfield rather than locals because it is quiet Western styled and the atmosphere of the cafe is gorgeous, they use green house themed cafe so that the outdoor space and the indoor space connected. The price for two is approximately Rp 200.000.

Made's Warung
Warung Made or Made's Warung is definitely my go-to place in Bali. They have all of the food that you can possibly imagined, starting from the Indonesian traditional food, Western food, oriental food, and many more. Even though it is so diverse, all the food here still taste really good. For the Indonesian cuisine or Balinese cuisine to be exact, I ordered this Nasi Campur Bali. I already tried The Dirty Duck version of this meal, but I just really need to try another one. As you can see, they have more variety on the assorted Balinese specialities here. The other meal that I ordered is this Fish Mahi Mahi. For the dessert you could never go wrong with Indonesian shaved ice dessert, Es Podeng. The price for 2 people is approximately Rp 200.000.
