This is the third issue of "Feast", which every image was taken in Jakarta in this past few months. I know what you all probably thinking, "This girl eats a lot." Life is too short to not eat well. Right? So, for this issue I am going to my hometown! Well, Jakarta is a big city. It is not possible for me to discover all places in one month and give you all reviews about it. That is why there will be several "Jakarta Feast" issues. Since, I live here at this beautiful yet populous city.
Bibigo
Bibigo is a modern korean restaurant that is located in Pasific Place Mall. There are a lot of choices for korean dishes starting from their siganture bibimbab, bulgogi, korean pancake, and many more. For the appetizer I ordered the korean pancake, it is basically a veggie pancake with crispy edges and soy sauce for the dipping. It is really good as appetizers because it is light and can be ordered as a sharing starters.
For the main meal, I ordered the beef bibimbab and the beef bulgogi. The beef bibimbab is marinated in a ssweet korean sauce on top of the korean style assorted veggie, it is served in a hot bowl so that we can continue to cook it until the final result looks like a fried rice. The beef bulgogi is served with diverse types of mushroom, like shitake mushroom and enoki mushrooms. The sauce is sweet with a little bit savory flavor and the beef really enhance the rich flavor to the the sauce.

JJ Royal Brasserie
I ordered this chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream, baked sweet potato with marshmallow, and a hot chocolate. Here at JJ Royal, everything is about making you happy with dessert. The restaurant is owned by Gulaku Company owner, which I think affected their restaurant theme. I sort of like all the dessert that I ordered but the baked sweet potato with marshmallow is a little bit too sweet for me and also I recommended to share the chocolate soufflé at least for two because it is quiet huge for a single portion according to me but if you love sweet, you know what? Go for it.

The brownie here at Brewerkz is really good. I love how the top has its crispiness and inside gooey in the middle. Perfect match with the vanilla ice cream as well. I went here with my friends, so we ordered french fries too. The bar is a nice place to hang out with friends. It is more to a guy-hang-out-place though.

Ron's Laboratory
Ron's Laboratory gelato ice cream I think has a really interesting concept. The mix of science and food in a ice cream place which looks like a lab is really cute and attract the customers especially kids and teenagers. This is the red velvet with cream cheese and the chocolate with sea salt and peanut butter. For honest review, I think these ice creams were a little bit too sweet. I suggest you should share this for two. However, if you are a sugar maniac you can definitely buy these for yourself but overall, it's really delicious.

Mama Goose
The triple cream brûlée here at MamaGoose is one of the most popular menu. I remember a guy from High School Musical loves to bake this kind of dessert. No wonder! This are nutella, classic vanilla, and chocolate cream brûlée. I think the classic one is always the best one but the other two is really good as well.

The Goods Cafe
Basically The Goods Cafe is The Goods Dept's food section. I ordered chicken taco and Ovomaltine milkshake. I ordered lychee iced tea too. The Ovomaltine milkshake is my dad's. He was having a childhood flashback. Even though when he was a little there is no Ovomaltine. I guess he was just craving for sweets. The food probably is not the reason for me to come back but overall it is okay.

Well, I don't know why I ordered this savory dish instead of dessert since I was in Bakerzin. But this taste really nice. If you don't like vegetables, don't order this. It has spinach in it. Actually, for me, spinach and the dory works!
