Ikuze

Currently obsessed with anything Japanese right now. Now, I am trying this Japanese restaurant and Lippo Mall Kemang where this restaurant Ikuze is located. The place looks really Tokyo urban style which I think is really modern and interesting for lunch time to socialize with friends and family on the weekends. Especially, the location at Lippo Kemang that is really open spaced.

I love Chirashi, I have been ordering this constantly at Japanese restaurant. It is a fresh sliced sashimi and other Japanese signature sides on top of Japanese rice. It is basically an unrolled sushi that looks like rice bowls.

For sharing, there is this Spicy Salmon Sushi Rolls and Gyoza. The Gyoza is my favorite it is filled with steamed chicken and wrapped in dumpling wrapper than dipped in soy sauce for boost of flavor. Then, for the typical Japanese nigiri, Salmon Nigiri topped it all.

Sushi Sei

For Japanese authentic food lover, this is the place that you should visit during lunch or probably dinner. Sushi Sei is located in 4th floor of Plaza Senayan, the place is quiet hidden though. This restaurant has been here for a long time, thus this place still considered as one of the most authentic Japanese cuisine place with a reasonable price for lunch, because they have different prices for lunch time and dinner time.

I ordered a set menus that included Chirashi Bowl, Udon, Tempura, and Chawanmushi. What makes this restaurant so special is that they keep their menus simple and original. For the sushi, I ordered a Sushi Set with rolls and nigiri. From the grill, I ordered Salmon Teriyaki.

Sophie Authentique

Sophie Authentique is my favorite breakfast spot at Kemang so far. The atmosphere of the cafe is a typical sweet British tea time place. The food here is also really nice, but mostly it is a typical egg breakfast type like omelet, scramble, or sunny side up. This is their second branch, the first one located in Kemang as well but is not as big as this one.
